“We have a common vision, there’s a great overlap in our aesthetics that makes it so easy to share in each others’ passion,” say Liz and Jessie, two artists who eat, sleep and breathe creativity. They met on a blind date arranged by Jessie’s best friend, the photographer Peter Neofotis, for whom Jessie was shooting some press photos. “He kept repeating ‘the sparks would fly’ during our photo session and said that the two of us had to meet,” Liz reports. Clearly, he was right. Liz and Jessie host Anti Diva at Dixon Place and love roller skating and discussing art in their free time. “Patience, humor, hard work and communication make our relationship work, and we really try to have a lot of fun. There’s nothing we love more than a day in the studio and engaging in our passion with the person we love.”
