One of the 100 Women We Love, Beth Ditto, lead singer of The Gossip and out and proud lesbian has a new girlfriend and want a baby.
This past January Ditto and her partner of 9 years, Freddie Fagula, called it quits. Now she is talking about having a baby with new girlfriend, Kristin, once her clothing line for UK plus-sized retail store Evans is released.
Beth said: "I want to do it when I’m 37. But I do want to go to the doctor in the next year and start taking it really seriously. Once these clothing lines are out I can take space and think about the baby."
She says that she never cheated on Freddie, though she was close with Kristin, who is also her assistant.
She told Britain’s Marie Claire Magazine, "It was something that I kept hidden deep inside of me. But everyone knew. Even people are parties and clubs would be like, ‘When are they going to get together?’ There was always a little guilt inside of me because I felt I was cheating, but I never cheated. We never did anything. I dated Freddie for nine years, and I was always worried it was going to end. With Kristin I never worry about it ending, I just feel completely full and whole."
