Former ‘Dance Moms’ star and self-described ‘bad girl’ Jojo Siwa has officially shed her Disney-friendly bows in her new ‘Karma’ music video. But she’s certainly keeping a tight grip on that glitter.
The drop has been highly anticipated by fans and haters alike, who have been following Jojo’s teases closely on social media.
The lyrics have been dissected (why say ‘effed’ instead of ‘fucked’?) and her dance moves have been called ‘aggressive’, making some commenters wonder “Jojo! Have you learned nothing?”.

In the new video, Jojo breaks out her bejeweled black bodysuit and KISS-esque makeup, which received the Gene Simmons stamp of approval.
It’s the same look she premiered at the iHeart Radio Awards earlier this week. It went viral almost immediately after she compared her rebrand to the likes of Miley Cyrus’ ‘Bangers’ era and Brittney Spears’ ‘I’m A Slave 4 U’.
‘Karma’ kicks off with Jojo being straddled by not one, but two, equally bedazzled lesbians. In the sand, on the boat, in the water- Jojo makes it clear she’s done ‘bad things’, but it’s all a secret.

It seems Jojo is ‘reborn’ when she stumbles upon a deserted island and finds herself in the midst of a love triangle/ dance off with her two lovers.
Then, after shoving her cheating ex into the sand, Jojo begins to hump her, which has sent the internet into a frenzy.

Some fellow stars have come to Jojo’s defense about her new look, including Tori Spelling and (allegedly) Lil Nas X and Meghan Trainor.
Some admit the song is just a little too catchy. One user even claims it’s competing with the other recent releases, including Kehlani‘s ‘After Hours’ and Chappell Roan‘s ‘Good Luck Babe’.
