We started off strong with America’s lesbian princess Reneé Rapp, who was introduced by a few iconic ‘L Word’ cast members before the show.

The unexpected collab happened in front of a pair of giant scissors that decorated the stage. Crew members struggled to put together the props on the first weekend, but figured it out for weekend two.

Reneé and Towa Bird shared a cheeky kiss on stage, and they weren’t the only ones. Brazilian singer-songwriter Ludmilla smooched her wife Brunna on the main stage.

 

The couple was also spotted cuddling up off stage. Over 11 million viewed the intimate moment on X.

Billie Eilish, who teased her newest queer song ‘Lunch’ at the festival, was seen dancing with her rumored partner Odessa A’zion and kissing her friend Quenlin Blackwell backstage.

It wouldn’t be a queer Coachella roundup without a mention of queer icon Chappell Roan, who performed at the festival for the first time this year. She premiered her new single ‘Good Luck Babe’, which she dedicated to her ex.

She showed off some of the top festival outfits: a latex bodysuit reading “Eat Me” paired with leopard tights and chunky jewelry. On weekend two, she pulled out a butterfly number, inspired by Lady Miss Kier of Deee-Lite.

If Coachella is any indicator of the rest of festival season, we’re in for a gay summer.
