This month’s theme: The Spy Who Inspired Me with the Broad Room
Feminists are intelligent, cunning, funny, and sometimes- super sneaky. This month we’re slipping on some slinky state secrets and raising a glass to history’s finest femme fatales, the sirens of the secret service, and the alluring agents of yore. Are we drinking Vesper Martinis? Absolutely not, eat your heart out James Bond.
This event is part of the Broads to Watch Series. Every few months The Broad Room gets together to highlight broads working as activists and advocating for progressive change, who embody the mission and values of The Broad Room. Their final networking event of 2019 will feature your favorite broads- the hosts of Nevertheless She Existed, Kylie Holloway & Molly Gaebe. Our podcast and live show tell the stories of erased womxn from history—one bad bitch at a time.
We’ll kick off the evening at 5:30pm with an intimate broads-only discussion on the creation of the podcast and what inspires these two brilliant artists (awww shucks). We’ll pregame our feminist party with a happy half hour at 6:30 and kick off the show at 7!
