Bang Group’s Nut/Cracked

The Bang Group returns for its 17th year of David Parker’s comic, neo-vaudeville “Nut/Cracked,” featuring an ensemble of 19 dancers and guest students from the Frank Sinatra H.S., Steffi Nossen, and e.g. dance. Parker’s unpredictable choreography runs from tap to pointe, and divertissements are inspired by bubble-wrap, toe shoes, Chinese take-out, competition – you name it! The Tchaikovsky score is played in traditional fashion as well as renderings by Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, and others.
