Carolyn Marosy has been playing guitar since she was 10 years old. In her 20s and 30s, she performed in bands throughout NYC at such legendary clubs such as CBGB, Continental, Meow Mix, Pyramid Club, Under Acme and more. She was once described in a GO! Magazine as a ‘guitar tour de force’. The past 20 years she has gone from fronting her own band, RAW, to backing up musicians as diverse as LP, Rosa Gudmundsdottir, and Christine Martucci. This year, she is returning to the stage, front and center, to bring back the music she creates from the heart and electrifies with her guitar and attitude. Not your average “girl with guitar”, Carolyn is a punk, psychedelic, blues troubadour. She plays acoustic and electric, and has some surprises up her sleeve.
