The Rainbow Run, organized by Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, is an annual 5K or 10K fun run or leisure walk that promotes health, wellness, and supports the center’s lifesaving work. This year, the event takes place in-person at Manhattan’s Hudson River Park on Saturday, May 4, with a gathering at 9 a.m. for bib pick-up and warm-ups, followed by the run at 10 a.m. Virtual participation is also available from May 4 to May 12, allowing participants to run or walk at their convenience. Participants receive a package with a personal bib number and can also engage in fundraising, build teams, or consider sponsorship opportunities, with levels starting at $250.
