The questionable term cougar, which describes an older woman who dates younger men à la Demi and Ashton, went mainstream this year. So much so that it spawned it’s own reality show staring Vivica A. Fox, called, you guessed it, The Cougar. Not wanting to feel left out, lesbians got in on the whole cougar craze and even made up some lingo of our own. According to the world of Internet forum-based theorists, if your lady friend is 10 or more years older than you, you may now proudly refer to yourself as a kitten.
