I can’t tell if I’m extremely excited for The Handmaid’s Tale Season 2, or extremely afraid for The Handmaid’s Tale Season 2, which will be released on April 25th on Hulu.
Now that the season 2 trailer has officially dropped (it dropped on Sunday, which is was cruel, as watching it is a surefire Sunday Funday buzzkill), I can safely assure you that I’m both terrified and ecstatic all at once.
And you should be too, as it looks epic. However, if you’re feeling vulnerable and sad this morning, and happen to be at like work, don’t watch this trailer. Please. Listen to your lesbian big sister. For she just did (and by “she” I mean “me”) and now feels too fragile and disturbed to continue on with the work day, which is unfortunate as she only has about ten thousand deadlines and fourteen thousand phone meetings to get through.
So tell us GO fam, how do you feel about this trailer? And does anyone else feel like The Handmaid’s Tale attains the ability to visceraly disturb you to the core, or is it just us?
