The 2022 Grammy nominations are out, as are a number of nominees, including some LGBTQ+ favorites.

On the list is Brandi Carlile, whose latest album, “Right on Time” has been nominated for Record of the Year, while the title song has received the nod for Song of the Year and Best Pop Performance. “A Beautiful Noise,” a collaboration between Carlile and Alicia Keys, was also nominated for Song of the Year.

Carlile and fellow out artist Brandy Clark were also nominated for their collaborative work, “Same Devil,” which was nominated for Best American Roots Performance.

Other out artists nominated this year include Japanese Breakfast, for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Music Album, for “Jubilee”. Halsey’s “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power” was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album.

Lil Nas X and Lady Gaga led the out artists pack with six nominations each, Lil Nas X for his work on “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” and Lady Gaga for her collaborations with Tony Bennett. They will both be competing against Carlile for Record of the Year.

Carlile took to Twitter to celebrate her nominations. “Takes a lot to shut me up, but I am absolutely stunned speechless and over the moon with gratitude and happiness for myself and all my friends who got their flowers this morning,” she wrote. “Congratulations everyone, and Happy Grammy Day!”
