Queer Poetry Night at Other Books (2006 E Cesar E Chavez Ave.) at 7:30 p.m. — A free reading by LA-based queer poets, including Heather Neumann and Nneka Jackson. Water and wine served.

Cruise L.A. and SoCal Creatures: Heavy Petting at Eagle LA (4219 Santa Monica Blvd.) at 3 p.m. – A monthly play event for gay pets/pups. If you know, you know.

Queer Secret Supper at The We Gallery (Secret location) at 6:30 p.m. — A semi-monthly event at a secret location in L.A., targeted towards queer women of color. Per the event description: “Genuine conversation with dope people and amazing home cooked food. Come as strangers and leave as friends… or maybe girlfriends.”

Aunt Skatie Meet-Up at 3077 University Ave. at 2 p.m. — Do you skate or wanna learn how? Aunt Skatie is a skate club for women and queer people only – beginners encouraged.

Sunday

4th Annual Trans Equality Brunch at West Hollywood City Council Chambers (625 N San Vicente Blvd.) at 11 a.m. — A brunch and panel event, free with RSVP, in honor of the Transgender Day of Remembrance.
