The Traitors UK winner Leanne Quigley has big plans for her prize money—and if every reality show cash prize were spent on a lavish lesbian wedding, the world would undeniably be a better place.
The BBC reality show, hosted by Claudia Winkleman and not to be confused with the Alan Cumming-hosted American version, wrapped its third season on Friday night (January 24). A tense finale saw Faithfuls Leanne and Jake Brown emerge as the last players standing, splitting the £94,600 jackpot.
Wedding bells are ringing
Leanne revealed she intends to use part of her winnings to plan her wedding with her long-term partner, Sophie, with whom she shares two-year-old twin boys.
“We’ve got wedding planning to do,” the former British Army soldier told MailOnline. “We’ve just started. We haven’t set a date yet, but yeah, we can get a wedding going.”

Her dream venue? The dramatic castle where The Traitors was filmed. “I actually looked at the castle because I didn’t realize you could get married there,” Leanne said. “That would be so iconic. I would actually love that.”
Leanne also shared that she plans to invite her fellow Traitors contestants to the ceremony, calling them “the most incredible people I’ve ever met in my life.”
“We’ve all had a few meet-ups since leaving the castle, and every time we see each other, it’s just all love. It’s so lovely,” she added.
A new journey to parenthood
In addition to her wedding plans, Leanne hopes to use her share of the money for future rounds of IVF. “I will absolutely be trying to have another baby—not straight away, maybe in a couple of years,” she said. “My family needs a little bit of a rest at the minute. But I think we’ll go through and freeze our eggs, hopefully get some embryos, and get them in the freezer for the future.”
Leanne has previously opened up about her challenging journey with IVF and her hopes for the future. “I went through IVF with my boys,” she shared, “and I was very poorly throughout my pregnancy… I went into early labor at six months.

“The boys were only 26 weeks when they were born. Because I was so poorly at the time, I feel like I missed out on enjoying that newborn stage.
“I’m so so grateful to have them, and I’m so lucky that they’re alive. When they did come home from hospital after three months, they came home on oxygen, and it was a struggle to take them out.
“I would love the opportunity to have another baby, hopefully have a bit of a better experience. And to make our family a bit bigger.”
Survival and strength
The couple recently faced another difficult chapter as Leanne’s partner, Sophie, underwent treatment for breast cancer. In a heartfelt Instagram post shared on January 9, Leanne reflected on their journey:
“This is the only news we needed and wanted… On the 31st of July 2024, my partner and the mother of my children was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer. Watching the person you love fight through chemotherapy is, without a doubt, one of the hardest things on earth.
“We quickly learned to never take anything for granted again. Sadly, we also learned that tomorrow is never promised, and the fear of the unknown nearly broke us inside.
“Yesterday, Wednesday, January 8th, 2025, the strongest woman on the planet was told she is cancer-free. She did it.”
With so much to celebrate, here’s hoping the couple pulls out all the stops for the wedding of their dreams.
