Hey Climber!
Please join us for our monthly CRUX event at Central Rock Gym! CRUX will meet at CRG to boulder together and then those who are interested can grab food and beverages nearby. If it’s your first time climbing or bouldering, don’t worry! We’ll help you climb your first walls! CRG staff will give you a little primer on bouldering and there are routes set for all levels! It’ll be great! If you’re not new to climbing, don’t worry! There are a bunch of high overhung routes to delight you as well as all levels down to VB on slab.

Accessibility
A ramp to the entrance is located along West End Ave (11th Ave). An elevator on the ground level leads to the climbing area.
Changing Rooms & Lockers
There is a single-use restroom on the ground floor near the front desk. Single occupancy, non-gendered changing rooms are on the lower level. There is a restroom without urinals and another with urinals. Lockers with built-in, self-coding locks are in an open space. And there are cubbyholes in the seating area.
Covid-19 Considerations
Masks that fully cover the nose and mouth must be worn at all times upon entry into the gym, including while climbing. Neck gaiters, bandanas, or any single-layer fabric coverings are not allowed. Be aware that CRG gym may implement mandatory temperature checks and hand sanitation measures before granting entry into the climbing area. Please observe all occupancy restrictions in restrooms.

Cost
$20 for a facility day pass. Tell them that you’re here for the CRUX event.
Existing CRG member? No additional costs to attend our event; just swipe and come to our table downstairs.
Climb Time
CRUX event hosts will be milling about downstairs in the bouldering area starting around 6:00 PM. You should see a CRUX banner and rainbow flags at a table near the workout area. There will be a host at the table who will be happy to meet you and answer any questions you have about CRUX.
Climbing from 6:00 – 8:00(ish) PM.
Food, drink, socializing after 8:00 PM – After bouldering a host will check in with folks about heading to a nearby spot for dinner, drinks, and merriment. Just check with one of the hosts to find out the post-climbing game plan.
