Art Show, Art Talk, Drawings/Works on Paper
After great success at Art Basel 2012, the paintings by Michael Jackson’s former chimpanzee, Bubbles, will be on display for an opening reception on Friday, July 21, 2017. The art exhibition will also feature art from other celebrity apes such as the chimpanzees from Planet of the Apes, and orangutans from the movie Going Apes, and NBC’s soap opera Passions. The crowd will enjoy complimentary food and wine sponsored by Carolina Ale House, an art presentation and a limited-edition gift. Part of the proceeds from the sale of art will benefit the Center for Great Apes.
