Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company

$25Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company celebrates its 45th anniversary with a program of dances by Eleo Pomare and artistic director Enrique Cruz Dejesus, including the company premiere of Pomare’s Las Desenamoradas, music by Coltrane and based on Lorca’s play “House of Bernada Alba,” and the world premiere of DeJesus’ “Mending Minds,” inspired by caretakers and asking “who will care for the caring?” Program also includes Pomare’s acclaimed “Narcissus Rising,” the 1968 solo that helped propel Pomare into the forefront of modern dance. Originally danced by the choreographer, the leather & chains, biker solo will be performed by Donna Clark – “all defiant glare and stalking feminist power” (Dance Magazine) Nov. 18 at 8 PM; Nov. 19 at 3 PM
