Dyke Nite hosted by Dyke Bar Takeover at Friends and Lovers donated all proceeds to Princess Janae Place, “dedicated to helping trans people maximize their full potential by providing residential, educational, clinical, and recreational services that create and nurture connections to the community and the world.” It was a night of music thanks to DJ Andro, Frilucha and Santa Librada. Girl Social kicked off their first LezSwim of 2018 and it was a splashing good time with DJ Monstar! LezSwim is a body-inclusive event where LGBTQIA-identified women, trans, genderqueer, and gender non-conforming people get together afterwork and have a great time in the pool. SKIN is a new monthly chic, sexy queer Gala at the Museum of Sex and we love our hosts Amber Von Toxn, Cassie Reeder, and Brie Brewer for creating this party and supporting and promoting female sensuality and art! Hot Rabbit’s biweekly Saturday night party Bad Habit at Lot 45 had an INCREDIBLE performance by international rope suspension & aerial shibari artist Parker Rope Boi and DJ Jessamess and DJ Mystery Grrr and set the stage for Vogue-Go Magic by The House of Olympus! XOXA: Hack The Planet party at Superchief Gallery was out of this world with special performances by Boston Flow Babes: The Hoopercat, Saturn Spins, and Gemini Jules!! This giant venue had plenty of space to play video games projected onto the back wall, and an impressive list of vendors including; AscAlchemical, Wanderdusted by Erin Wong, Privvi nail art by Linette, J. Caress Studio, Wear the Golden by Ariel “Fenix” Justine, Penny Trott’s Bizarre Emporium, and PhoKing Queen by Gigi. There was still plenty of room to dance to DJ HardCandy and DJ Darelectric’s sick sets, and marvel at Kiska and Medea’s dancing, plus a mesmerizing aerial video game themed performance by Misha Lee! #Wewerethere! Babetown Super Bowl, hosted by founder Alex Koones, was a blast filled with great food and good vibes! In solidarity with Colin Kaepernick and his gross mistreatment by the NFL, a portion of proceeds from this dinner was donated to the Black Lives Matter network. Babetown is a pop up supper club for queer women, trans and non binary people that meets in a variety of private homes each month. This month Alex opened her home to us and we were super grateful she did! #Wewerethere! Were you?!

Ladies Night at ICON was a special fundraising event presented by Crazy Maria Cherry Lips and Lori from Las Reinas Ent, and music by DJ Triple 9. Instead of having a cover charge donations in any amount were accepted at the door. All donations were given to the victims of a house fire on January 4th. The house they were renting caught on fire and burned down. They are part of Lori’s family, friends to many of you and our community, and wanted to remain anonymous. #Wewerethere! Were you?!

Queer Soup Night celebrated their 1 year anniversary at C’mon Everybody this past Sunday, and DJ JayeMarti had us work up an appetite on the dance floor! Co-hosted by JaynesBeard, a lesbian and queer supper club, bread brought to us by Hot Bread Kitchen, and salty snacks provided by everyone’s fave popcorn company, Pipcorn! 100% of proceeds were donated to the The Center for Anti-Violence Education, a Brooklyn-based org which provides self-defense, bystander training, and empowerment programs for adult and teen women (cis and trans), LGBQ and TGNC people, and other communities especially affected by violence. #Wewerethere! The 2018 Women’s March was a massive demonstration of love, solidarity, and fighting for equal rights for all! Women of all colors, shapes, and identities came together to engage in America’s oldest tradition- protesting for equality. #Wewerethere! Were you?!

Buddha Bar at Taj was a BLAST with a killer DJ lineup; DJ Mary Mac, DJ Missy B, DJ MK, and DJ Kim B SLAYED!
