Out trans director Jake Graf is debuting the second part of his short film trilogy at LGBTQ film festivals this spring. “Dusk,” a follow-up to his award-winning 2016 offering “Dawn,” stars out model Elliott Sailors in her big-screen debut alongside Duncan James (“Chicago,” “Legally Blonde”) and Victoria Emslie (“The Danish Girl,” “Downton Abbey”). Told through flashbacks, the story follows Chris (Sailors) and how “the choices we make can change our lives fundamentally.”
“Dusk” will premiere at MiFo in Miami at the end of April and also play at Wicked Queer in Boston and Seattle Transitions, with more festival screenings to come.
