Katy Perry’s Sketchy Tour, Jojo’s New Crew, And The Lesbian Kisses You WON’T See On TV

Your weekly entertainment roundup.
We’re back with your weekly queer entertainment roundup. Unfortunately, not much queer entertainment has been released this week. Instead, we’ve been inundated with straight media at an almost homophobic rate. Here are a few of the annoying, disturbing, and altogether homophobic (not really lol) things happening in the media world right now.
Terrence Howard Says He’d Rather Cut His Lips Off Than Kiss a Man
Now I know we are joking about these things being homophobic, but this one actually is. In a recent appearance on Bill Maher’s podcast, Empire star Terrence Howard explained that he backed out of starring in a Marvin Gaye biopic because he found out, through Quincy Jones, that Gaye was, well, a little gay.
“That would f*ck me,” Howard said. “I would cut my lips off. If I kissed some man, I would cut my lips off.” Well, at least we know he will not be the next straight actor to join the ‘gay for pay’ list anytime soon.
The Entirety of Katy Perry’s Tour
After her much-talked-about journey to space, Ms. Perry has seemingly returned to Earth ready to flop. The Lifetimes Tour, which started on April 23 in Mexico City, has been shared on social media, and let me tell you, we are not impressed.
From the unnecessary use of AI to uninspired choreography, Perry is not only adding to her current flop era, but she is even bordering on damaging her iconic pop star reputation. The Perry on stage today is simply not the diva of Teenage Dream and we demand a refund.
Jojo Siwa Spotted With Chris Hughes and His Pals
Days after exiting the Big Brother house, Jojo Swia, famed ex-lesbian, was spotted hanging out with housemate Chris Hughes amid dating rumors. As we have all seen, Siwa broke up with their ex, Kath Ebbs, immediately after exiting the house and has been quite cryptic since.

Asked on This Morning about the nature of their relationship with Hughes, Siwa said, “Life is life. I don’t know any future of anything. But I’m really grateful for our dynamic we have and our bond that we have. Whatever life does, life will do.” So, whatever that means. As icon Abbey Lee Miller once said, “Jojo have you learned nothing?”
“The Last of Us” Deletes Gay Makeout
In a preposterous change to the original story, the most recent The Last of Us episode has removed an iconic makeout scene between Ellie and Dina. After their dancehall kiss in the first episode, we are supposed to get a scene where Dina asks Ellie to rate their kiss on a scale from one to ten. When Ellie rates it a six, Dina tells her “this better be better than a six” (okay rizz), and they make out.
Instead, Dina asks Ellie to rate this kiss, but throws in “you’re gay, I’m not” for no apparent reason, and then tells Ellie that she has decided to get back with her ex-boyfriend Jesse. This is NOT my Dina.
Hal & Harper Still Has No US Distribution Deal
If, like me, your X feed shows every single gay piece of media, you have most likely seen the clips or pictures of Lili Reinhart and Alyah Chanelle Scott being queer in the new series Hal & Harper. If, like me, you went to try and find the show after seeing said clips, you would have discovered that the show does not currently have a US distribution deal.
If you desperately wish to watch the show, you can download a VPN, create an account on the Spanish television site Movistar Plus+ and watch the show in Spanish. To have to put in all that work to watch some girls kiss is, say it with me, homophobic.
