Spoiler alert! Things are getting gay in the forest (again).

Spoilers for season three, episodes one and two ahead!

For a series that loves to tease out its queer-coded storylines for as long as possible, Yellowjackets has (finally) delivered. The first two episodes of season three dropped over the weekend, and they hit the ground running with a web of complicated lesbian drama.

Quick refresher: when we last saw the Yellowjackets in the season two finale (almost two full years ago), Coach Ben had set the team’s cabin alight back in the 1996 timeline, while Natalie met her unfortunate end in the present. This time around, in addition to a few major developments—in 1996, Coach Ben is alive and on the run, while in the present, Callie is assaulting girls with animal remains—the girls are up to their usual shenanigans, doing drugs, hosting cult rituals, and possibly killing people. But more important than any of that: there were two major sapphic kisses in as many episodes.

First, the season premiere, which dropped on Friday, featured adult Tai and Van finally acting on their pent-up tension.

Then, in the second episode, which dropped Sunday, longtime sapphic yearner Shauna Shipman (the teenage version, that is) finally got her time to shine in her first on-screen kiss with a (living) girl, the oft-discussed but rarely seen Melissa—who we promise has been there the whole time.

Naturally, fans online are loving Shauna’s sapphic awakening, the perfect complement to her delusions and penchant for cannibalism.

Other fans are still in mourning for Shauna’s first love, Jackie (Ella Purnell).

But while the surprise Shauna kiss was more than welcome, most fans were even happier about the kiss we were expecting, jumping for joy when Tai and Van’s all-too-slow burn finally paid off. (It’s about time, considering we know our time with Van is short).

Finally, aside from rejoicing in the gayest season yet, fans are also busy engaging in their second-favorite pass time: hating on Mari.
