10 Sexy NYC Date Spots To Wine And Dine Your Bae

What’s your favorite lez date spot?

Dinner and drinks dates never go out of style simply because there is nothing more pleasurable on this earth than eating and drinking, all while knowing there’s a possibility of sex. This is a date spot list for the babes that appreciate the sacredness of the perfect pizza crust, or the shimmer of ice flakes in a fresh martini, or the sensuality in drizzled chocolate over a flourless cake. Am I turning you on? Good. Here’s 10 sexy restaurants to have a fab meal with a beautiful babe.

1. Houdini Pizza Laboratory in Ridgewood, Queens

Ummmmm I can’t type because I am DROOLING. If you’re looking to impress an Italian girl, this is your spot (don’t let the un-Italian name fool you). Houdini Pizza Lab is a little off the beaten path, but that only makes it cooler. The only thing better than their pizza is their grilled calamari (or, in Italian, GALA-MAD) and their Cacio e Pepe. Seriously life changing. Pair that with a nice Chianti, and you’ll have the actual best night ever. If you aren’t too full to dance, or can delay sex just a little bit longer, head to The Deep End right next store for vodka sodas and a queer dance party.

2. Le Gamin in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

My girlfriend and I had our first blow out fight at Le Gamin, but it doesn’t matter, because it was over oysters and chardonnay. Le Gamin is the best French food I’ve ever had, and it’s located in the cutest part of Greenpoint. Also they have one male waiter that’s so beautiful he makes even me, the dyke-iest dyke who ever dyke-ed, question my sexuality. After your bisexual epiphany and escargot, stroll down Franklin Ave to pop in and out of trendy bars and clubs.

3. Syndicated in Bushwick, Brooklyn

Syndicated is one of my favorite date spots ever — a super trendy yet unpretentious cinema/bar/kitchen. Whether you want to lounge with a specialty cocktail at the bar or stuff your face with popcorn in the theater… or make out in the last row… Syndicated is the perf place to bring your bae. And you HAVE to order the tequila infused chocolate milkshake. Trust me.

4. House Of Wax  in Downtown, Brooklyn

Are you a little sick and twisted like me? Then you’ll love this macabre chic bar, filled with grotesque wax figures, sexy velvet, and delicious cocktails. This is definitely a unique date spot, and not for the squeamish or boring. Be sure to try the truffle popcorn and buffalo cauliflower.

5. The Belfry  in Union Square, NYC

Live music, gorgeous greenery, string lights (lesbians love string lights), and a lit AF happy hour are what make The Belfry a fab date spot. Order a bottle of wine and toss it back at their beautiful bar before heading to the back to dance to the live jazz band.

6. Dar 525 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

This is the unofficial GO Gals date spot, as we are obsessed with the rose infused margaritas (I also have a totally harmless crush on our usual waitress). The food is always fresh and delicious. The bar area looks like a Mexican version of our beloved Cubbyhole. Try the plantains, duh.

8. Merchants River House in Battery Park, NYC

I don’t go here for the macaroni and cheese cones — I go for the beautiful view and fresh seafood. The best grilled salmon I’ve ever had. Bible. And what’s better than topping off a decadent dinner date with a romantic walk alongside the water?

9. Milk And Honey in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn

Everyone knows brunch is the most important meal of the day, and brunch dates are wildly underrated. Why not take your love to Milk and Honey for Dulce de Leche pancakes. Yes, they are good as they sound.
