Let’s Start with NYC

gURLSlikegIRLS presents: gURLS PRIDE! – June 18 Brooklyn, NY
The Bush celebrates sapphics all year round, so it’s only right that one of Brooklyn’s favorite dyke bars goes all out for Pride. This year, one of Brooklyn’s hottest lesbian parties comes to The Bush on June 18. gURLSlikegIRLS is returning to the iconic venue for the second annual gURLS PRIDE!, a celebration that centers Black queer femmes and is open to everyone. Organized by hostess and musician Lord Scorpio, gURLSlikegIRLS events at The Bush have gone down in history for their all-night celebrations, so this year, expect great entertainment, free shots at midnight, and plenty of surprises.
Visit The Bush at 333 Troutman Street in Brooklyn. Doors open for gURLS PRIDE! at 9 pm, and the party runs until 2 am. General admission is $20 online and at the door. However, gURLSlikegIRLS is offering an online discount for group tickets—get four for $58 at posh.vip/e/gurls-pride. Follow @gurlslikegirls.bk on Instagram for updates and follow @bushdykebar to hear about the rest of the bar’s Pride programming.
The NYC Pride Indie Horror Book Fair – June 20 Queens, NY
If all-night parties aren’t your vibe, not to worry! New York has plenty of daytime activities for a more low-key way to show your pride while supporting your favorite queer organizations. Brooklyn Attic Books has one such offering: the Indie Horror Book Fair, designed to bring together New York’s queer book lovers while supporting the Ali Forney Center, which provides emergency housing for LGBTQ+ youth. Meet over 30 LGBTQ+ authors, including Rebecca Rowland, Kayli Sholz, and Shannon O’Connor. Connect with fellow book lovers at this daylong celebration, which includes movie screenings, live performances, carnival games, and prizes. Luther’s NYC will provide its famous fried chicken sandwiches, and the host venue, TV Eye, will open up its The Shining-themed lounge for horror-loving guests to visit and snap pictures.

Center the Culture: Juneteenth Block Party – June 20 New York, NY
This year, New York’s LGBT Center is bringing the party outside with its Center the Culture: Juneteenth Block Party, a celebration of Black liberation, unity, and joy. This all-day, free, outdoor celebration will include a wide array of live performances, including DJ sets, spoken word, and live music. The event will also feature local, Black-owned food vendors. The Center has been a pillar of New York’s LGBTQ+ community for more than 40 years and continues to provide a diverse range of community health, economic, and youth-oriented programming, so there’s perhaps no better way to honor queer history. This event is free to attend and open to everyone, but you can register in advance online at The Center’s website, gaycenter.org/calendar.
The D Word: Pride Edition at Henrietta Hudson – June 21 New York, NY
Henrietta Hudson is a staple of New York’s sapphic community, so rest assured that the bar has a full slate of events on the docket for Pride Month. Before the bar’s iconic annual Pride Sunday party, kick off a week of celebration with The D Word, an all trans, dyke, and sapphic burlesque revue. This late-night show is hosted by Pacha Cunti, the drag queen, go-go dancer, and self-described “Jewish-Peruvian princess” of New York, and features drag queen Lie-Luh, drag king Salaam Kitty, and burlesque legends Artina Darkly and Yaga Tigerlily. Expect power ballads, comedy, games, prizes, an exciting cocktail (and mocktail) menu, and of course, lots of dancing from this star-studded show. Anyone celebrating a special occasion (whether that’s a birthday, wedding, divorce, or anything in between) is encouraged to DM @pachacvnti on Instagram ahead of the show for an extra-special experience.
Tickets are pay-what-you-can, with a suggested donation range of $0-$25. Doors open at 9 pm, and the show starts at 9:30 pm. Visit Henrietta’s at 438 Hudson Street in New York, and follow @henriettahudson on Instagram to keep up with the full slate of Pride events.
Harlem Pride – June 27 New York, NY
Ahead of the citywide Pride March and festival in Manhattan’s Flatiron District on Sunday, Harlem Pride is taking the celebration uptown with an all-day street festival. Harlem Pride turns 17 this year, and the organization is ringing in its birthday with a new festival theme: “17 Shades of Pride,” celebrating the full spectrum of Black queer identity, culture, joy, legacy, and community. Expect tons of local artists and food vendors, appearances from community leaders and celebrity guests, live performances, and much more. The festival is free to attend, and will be set up along 12th Avenue between West 130th and West 132nd streets. Follow @harlempride on Instagram to stay up to date on the latest event announcements as they’re released.

Dyke March – June 27 New York, NY
Pride began as a protest, and the Dyke March is keeping that spirit alive. Every year since 1993, a group of grassroots lesbian organizers and supporters take over the streets of Manhattan, leading thousands of queer women in a march down Fifth Avenue from Bryant Park to the Village in a massive demonstration for lesbian rights, visibility, and liberation. Dyke March is a celebration of lesbian existence—both its diversity and its unity—and a protest against discrimination and harassment. It’s never been more important. This year’s theme is “Hot Dykes Melt ICE,” a demonstration of the Dyke March’s solidarity with and commitment to protect and uplift New York’s immigrant and BIPOC communities.
The event is always free to attend and sets off from Bryant Park at 5 pm, heading down Fifth Avenue to Washington Square Park. Learn more at nycdykemarch.com
NYC Pride March & PrideFest – June 28 New York, NY
The centerpieces of New York’s Pride celebrations are the annual Pride March and PrideFest, on the last Sunday of the month. Since the first Pride March in 1970—held to commemorate the first anniversary of the Stonewall uprising—the event has grown into one of the biggest celebrations of LGBTQ+ visibility in the world. Nearly 2.5 million people attended last year’s March, and this year could be even bigger. The celebration boasts a new theme: “For Us All,” and a star-studded lineup of grand marshals, including Bowen Yang, Dominique Jackson, Peppermint, organizers from Gays Against Guns, and Bernie Wagenblast, the voice of the New York City subway system. The March takes off from 26th Street and Fifth Avenue at 12 pm, heading toward 15th Street and Seventh Avenue.
Head further into the Village for PrideFest, one of the country’s largest Pride street fairs. Starting at 11 am, PrideFest features local artists, nonprofits, food vendors, LGBTQ+ authors hosting a mini “BookFest,” queer-affirming wellness pop-ups, family-friendly activities, and live performances. Vendors will be set up along Fourth Avenue, between 14th Street and 8th Street, with live performances in Astor Place. Both the March and the street festival are free to attend. Learn more about both at nycpride.org.

Pa’Ella Womxn Camping Weekend – July 23-26 Oneida Campground, PA
Keep the Pride vibes going well into July at the second annual Pa’Ella Womxn Camping Weekend, a four-day, three-night sapphic camping retreat. Host LasReinasNYC is known for her safe but wild sapphic parties in New York that bring together the queer community for activities that are equal parts fun and empowering. With Pa’Ella, she’s changing the pace. Held on the serene (and proudly queer-owned) Oneida Campground in Northern Pennsylvania, Pa’Ella is intended to be an “easy camping” weekend for queer women of all ages to connect with nature and each other. If you’re looking to escape the city for a few days for some much-needed rest and recovery after a month of celebrating Pride, but still want to be surrounded by fellow sapphics, this camping trip may be just what the doctor ordered. It’s an inclusive space full of good music and great vibes.
Tent and RV sites are available for one, two, or three-day rentals starting at $81.88, but spots are limited, so make your reservation. If tents aren’t your vibe, you can also book a cabin for a minimum of two nights, starting at $350. Plus, one lucky attendee will win a free pass to another of GO’s favorite events, The Dinah, in Palm Springs. Learn more at lasreinasnyc.com.

The Dinah – September 30 – October 4 Palm Springs, CA
In early autumn, when most Pride Month celebrations start to feel like distant memories, The Dinah reminds the world that Palm Springs has always been a queer utopia. This five-day celebration, which co-owner Bella Barkow described to GO as a “queer mecca,” is one of the biggest queer events in the country, and this year, it’s coming back bigger than ever. The 2026 Dinah celebration wasn’t always guaranteed—when founder Mariah Hanson stepped away last year, many regular attendees assumed the party wouldn’t be back until at least 2027. But the event’s new organizers, Barkow and Rose Garcia, made it happen. This Dinah promises to be one for the books.
The Dinah has always been a celebration of all things sapphic, but even in its 35th year of existence, the party continues to evolve. The event is famous for its iconic pool parties, live shows, and DJ sets, which draw in more than 10,000 sapphic, trans, and nonbinary attendees to the picturesque Hilton Palm Springs. But this year, attendees can now expect two celebrations: the classic Hilton pool party, and a more tranquil vibe at the nearby Hotel Zoso. Whether you’re arriving with a partner, friends, or solo, The Dinah has you covered with an ever-growing slate of activities that includes a Singles and Solos dating mixer, comedy from sapphic icon Cameron Esposito, and, of course, plenty of pool parties. Expect yoga, mocktails, and serene vibes at one hotel, all-day partying at the other, and an inclusive, affirming, sapphic oasis all around.
Tickets are already on sale for this year’s celebration—room packages at Hotel Zoso start at $1,101 for a multi-night stay, while room packages at the Hilton start at $1,156. Have your own lodging in the area? You can also book day passes to The Dinah starting at $123. Learn more at thedinah.com.
