Lucy Spraggan – “I Hope You Don’t Mind Me Writing”
For fans of: hopeless romanticism, optimistic sing-alongs, acoustic pop rock

Lucy Spraggan’s “Loaded Gun” is a tongue-in-cheek track about the perfect date ending with a “bang.” The out English singer’s sense of humor is apparent on her fourth album, which reached #12 on the Official Charts Company (the UK’s equivalent of the Billboard Top 100). The title song is a lesbianized answer to Adele’s “Hello”: “I heard you dumped Christine/but that was probably what, 2003?/I bet you got a super hot wife or three/you were always such a player when we were 16.”
