America’s Most Captivating Couples 2007

It was difficult to narrow down the entries, but we finally did it–and the result is the year’s most captivating couples! Ranging from a historic preservationist to a superhero to a TV talk show host (times two), it’s great to see so many proud women, not just in love, but spreading that love around and making the world a brighter place. Their stories inspired us, and we know they’ll inspire you, too. Say hello to this year’s sweethearts.

Jenn and Dana first found each other on MySpace. They have chosen to maintain a long-distance relationship for now, so chatting on the phone and email is vital. “If we did not have good communication between us,” says Jenn, “we wouldn’t be as strong as we are.” One thing that makes this couple especially unique is that Dana is an MTF transsexual. (She had gender reassignment at the end of January.) “Before I met Dana, I had never had any experiences with transgender individuals,” says Jenn. “This past year has been such a fantastic, loving, learning experience for both of us.”
