Through the COVID-19 pandemic, GO Mag will be gathering the best lesbian and queer virtual events on the weekends in lieu of our regular weekend event round-ups.
Happy Friday! Without further ado, here’s everything that’s going on in the queer-antine universe this weekend.
Join QTPOC friends to watch and discuss the newest lesbian rom-com on Netflix, “The Half Of It,” every Friday at 8 p.m. PST. Per the flyer: “Come for the taco sausage, stay for queer bingo and chats.”
Support the oldest lesbian bar in New York City and get your groove on at the same time. Henrietta Hudson is hosting a Zoom party on Friday at 9 p.m. EST, featuring DJ Christie.
DC-based lesbian mag Tagg Magazine is hosting this queerantine conference, featuring panels about lesbian bars, QPOC representation in media, sex and dating, and so much more. It all takes place Saturday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. EST.
Ascendance, a New Orleans-based party, is throwing another big virtual dance party on Saturday at 9 p.m. CST. This time, it’s in celebration of the New Moon in Gemini, which takes place on Friday. All proceeds go toward Familias Unidas en Accion, an organization that empowers immigrant families in New Orleans.
Dani Campbell, firefighter and lesbian heartthrob of “A Shot At Love” fame, is hopping on GO Mag’s Instagram Live to answer questions from fans on Sunday at 2 p.m. EST. Read this interview to prepare, then queue up all the questions you’ve ever wanted to ask Dani.
