IN PERSON EVENT. Afro-American scholar James Wright will be presenting recent revelations concerning Lorraine Hansberry, famed author of A Raisin in the Sun. The focus of the talk will be Hansberry’s political activism as a member of the Communist Party and her authorship, using a pseudonym, of short stories depicting lesbian characters.
