Four NYC series team up for a reading of trailblazing poetry and prose by MADELINE STEVENS (Devotion), HALA ALYAN (Salt Houses, The Twenty-Ninth Year), S. ERIN BATISTE (Glory to All Fleeting Things), and AIMEE HERMAN (Everything Grows). Through their urgent, mesmerizing work, these four feminist writers tackle issues of class, sexuality, gender identity, displacement, and more. The night includes drink specials and a raffle for the authors’ latest books. This is an official 2019 Brooklyn Book Festival Bookend Event.
