BAND BIOS:

Tracy City is a gang of salty broads revving the engines of garage rock by way of New York City no-wave queercore. Formed by underground film director Katrina del Mar (vocals), with Monica Falcone on guitar, Genny Slag on drums and Betsy Todd on bass, Tracy City is perhaps the only all lesbian band in the world, formed entirely of perimenopausal Riot Grrrls. Their “brash, pounding” singles Love and Luddite, produced by Don Fury, “A pulsing mix of ‘80s goth a la Siouxie, L7-style thrashing drums and guitar, and Del Mar’s painstaking wail that’s in line with Exene’s” -Alexandra Weiss Oyster Mag

A Total Wreck is a queer-fronted punk band inspired by various punk/ emo music, originating in Queens as a two-piece in 2021. We write about contemporary political issues, gender, and identity while keeping it pouty and rowdy as we yell about broken systems.

Basic Bitches, a queer punk rock two-piece, are familiar faces in NYC’s Riot Grrrl / DIY scene. They recently clawed their way out of Brooklyn’s basement stages and carted their amps upstate—because you can make as much noise as you want in the country. Their upcoming 2023 album, It Doesn’t Matter If It’s Cool, is produced by J. Robbins (Ex Hex, Bacchae, War on Women, Against Me!). Like a fed-up phoenix, the record wallops its way through a pile of post-pandemic ash with anthems like “Start the World,” “Business as Usual” and “This City Won’t Miss You (Like I Do).” Naomi Scott (guitar, vocals) and Krystal Grow (drums, vocals)

Ov Stars is Asbury Park based songwriting team of former PsychicTV bassist Alice Genese and Shaune Pony Heath. Their Debut EP, Tuesdays, “languid country gothic along the lines of Mazzy Star and Cowboy Junkies” released in 2022, was produced, engineered and mixed by Jeff Berner, another alumnus of Psychic TV. Genese spent the better part of two decades as the bass player and co-writer in Psychic TV, an internationally acclaimed ensemble fronted by the late singer/cultural engineer Genesis Breyer P-Orridge.
