About this Event
We will be hosting this event in support of the short film Nadia Jaan, created by Sheila Haya and Enrico Falconi. The discussion will be held at the Zukor Theater, doors will open at 6:15pm, the panel will start at 6:45pm. Following the panel, there will be a reception held at George’s Restaurant (located in the same facility)with live music by the Afghan-American band, Good Company the Duo, composed of Arian and Yasemine Majhoob. Tickets also include finger foods, and an open bar consisting of beer, wine, and champagne. All proceeds will go to the making of the film, Nadia Jaan.

Nadia Jaan is a film about an Afghan-American woman who must choose between the woman she loves, or the traditions and marriage that is expected of her.
