This event is free and tickets help us number how many supplies are needed in order to have a fantastic event, and helps us throw many more just like this, so be sure to register!

Queer-centered skate organization TheySkate and skate activist Jhanaiya are teaming up to throw a Juneteenth celebration of Black culture on June 19th, 2022. There will be raffles and prizes which will be prioritized for Black, Indigenous, and POC skaters in the New York City area.

We will be donating funds to Black-owned organizations, especially ones that look to care for Black Trans women and youth. If you are unable to donate — boosting, inviting friends, or simply coming to sesh with us at this event is always just as good.

We will have food (while supplies last!) and will be accommodating for vegan/vegetarian diets to the best of our abilities.
