Jacobson’s How to Be Safe, directed by Cezar Williams, June 1-17 at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery) with performances on Thursday, June 1, Friday, June 2, Saturday June 3, Wednesday, June 7,
Thursday, June 8, Friday, June 9, Saturday, June 10, Wednesday, June 14, Thursday, June 15, Friday, June 16, and Saturday, June 17 at 7pm and Sunday, June 4 at 3pm. Tickets ($25) may be purchased in advance at www.horseTRADE.info. The performance will run approximately 75 minutes, with no intermission.

After a friendly neighbor dies suddenly, the agoraphobic Audrey decides to venture out of her apartment for the first time in months – but only gets as far as the bus before a panic attack makes her turn back. Before she returns, her nervousness makes quite an impression on the brazen Willow, an adrenaline-seeking recovering drug addict whose sobriety has left her eager to feel anything. After running away from her recovery program, Willow comes crashing in on Audrey’s safe space, hoping to find a place to stay.
