House of Yes presents Creatures of the Dust, dance in the dust of the divine desert and let the beast run wild in the night.

Awaken the creature of your creative spirit. Be your own hero. Be your best villain.

Dance in the dust of the divine desert and let the beast of your brilliance run wild in the night.

Rejoice in rituals of flow, force and fire and we blend light and dark, good and evil and find the balance in the sparkle and shadows on the dancefloor.

We unite on this night to raise funds and abundance for Black Burner Project and Heroes & Supervillians as they make their way to “That Thing in the Desert”. Join us as we help bring their art and magic to Black Rock City.

::: LOOKS :::

heroes and hotties, disguises of divinity, goddexx extravagance, playa style, desert devotion, royal radiance, flesh and flow, hedonistic headwear, capes and caftans, alter-ego super hero, evil twin super villain, elevated extravagance, fierce feathers and really whatever expresses your best essence.

ABOUT THE CAMP: HEROES & SUPER VILLAINS

Heroes & Super Villains (HSV) invites members of the Burning Man community and beyond on an interactive, multi-sensory journey of personal self-discovery, using the framework of the Hero’s Journey created by Joseph Campbell and Maureen Murdock’s ‘The Heroine’s Journey’ in their study of myth, culture and society.

HSV enables YOU to be the protagonist of your own reality, to explore and examine the inner workings of both experiences and environments that have shaped your life, your views and your perspectives. This summer, we’ll be celebrating our transformations and the moments that have made their indelible marks on us.

ABOUT BLACK BURNER PROJECT

Black Burner Project, created in 2018 by Erin Douglas, helps document and elevate the growing presence of people of color at Burning Man through photography and personal essays. Erin has since become a prominent advocate for increasing diversity and Inclusion at Burning Man. Her encouraging words, de-mystifying explanations, and beautiful photography inspire Black & Brown people to consider coming to Burning Man and reminds the Burner community that representation is an essential element of “radical inclusion”.@Blackburnerproject
