Guitarist Ryan Ferreira was born in Santa Rose, California in 1980. He moved to NY in 2003 and has played with Ralph Alessi, Sam Amidon, Bill Frisell, Colin Stetson, Alarm Will Sound, Chris Morrisey, Dan Weiss, Aaron Parks, Dave King, Joachim Badenhorst, Ted Poor and many others. He has been a regular part of Tim Berne’s bands for the last few years (the latest CHASM – trie with Dave King) and has worked on over 40 recordings. Recently he recorded for and with David Torn (released on ECM) and appears on Tim Berne’s last two “Snakeoil” records. He released his first solo record in 2011 and currently lives in Brooklyn.

Zack Foley is a social worker at a city hospital in Brooklyn. He is a member of the Order of Interbeing created by zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. He is currently in a handful of bands: Heavy Lettuce with Chris Tordini and Ryan Ferreira; Baird Western Reunion with Devin Gray, Greg Chudzik, and Jesse Elder; 98th Street Trio with CJ Everett and Frank Wagner. Zack grills a lot, vegetables mostly, out on his roof garden. La dolce vita.
