Carnegie Hall is proud to award its ninth Medal of Excellence to Adrienne Arsht—remarkable businesswoman, philanthropist, and friend. Ms. Arsht will be the first woman to receive the Medal of Excellence, and is the embodiment of all that the medal stands for: a celebration of the unique and vital role a business and philanthropic leader plays in supporting the arts. Proceeds from the evening will support the education programs of the Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall and the Hall’s artistic programming.
