The Best Medicine tells the story of a Midwestern Catholic girl living in a 1960’s suburban ranch house, where family mental instability is ignored and goes untreated – save for Sunday mass and Fleischmann’s blended whiskey. Marbles were lost and marbles were recovered with an assist of psycho-pharmaceuticals.
