Join Anja Keister and a rotating cast for this monthly literary salon of themed public readings for your enjoyment.

For our next show, we’ll be keeping the Halloween spirit alive into November with a literary tribute to VAMPIRES! Join Bare Book Club as we read selections from authors such as Octavia Butler and Christopher Moore, YA and children’s lit, and even a hypnotizing piece written by one of our very own readers that will be sure to leave you drained.

The November 6th cast will include Queerly Femmetastic, Nip Fury, Mx Macabre, and your host reader Anja Keister. This cast guarantees you’ll have a bloody good time.

All ticket holders will go home with free goodies from our sponsor Uberlube!

WHAT IS THE CITY RELIQUARY?
Reliquaries typically house the ostensible bones of dead saints. We house the bones of New York City. From seltzer bottles to schist cores, roller skates from racially integrated rinks, and a burnt out lightbulb from the Statue of Liberty’s torch.

We use this space to breathe new life into New York city, with not only our incredible collection of interactive historical exhibits, but continuous and stimulating programming, arts, and events.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required for entry. See nyc.gov/keytonyc for accepted vaccines & forms of proof.

Masks are required for all inside the building of The City Reliquary, where you will check in and walk through to our backyard. Masks may be taken off while in the backyard. We have heightened cleanliness procedures and hand sanitizer and masks available.

The main entrance and indoor museum are entirely flat, but there are 4 steps up and 4 steps down to the backyard. The backyard is uneven with some platforms, but a paved area near the entrance is available with a view of the stage.
