This year’s Oscars (aka the “Gay Superbowl”) boast more diversity than many previous ones, with the queer- and black-focused “Moonlight” up in eight different categories, Also up for major awards: “La La Land, “Hidden Figures,” “Fences” and “Manchester By the Sea.”
