The 2026 WNBA All-Star Game drew a record-breaking 19,783 fans in Chicago, officially topping attendance at this year’s NBA All-Star Game for the first time.

The 2026 WNBA All-Star Game officially outdrew this year’s NBA All-Star Game in attendance for the first time. A league-record 19,783 fans packed Chicago’s United Center on Saturday, surpassing the 15,973 fans who attended the NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles earlier this year.
The record-breaking crowd came as Team Spoon defeated Team Coop 129-122 in a high-scoring showcase of the league’s biggest stars. Jonquel Jones earned All-Star MVP honors after posting 22 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists.
The game also featured another history-making moment as Nneka Ogwumike became the WNBA All-Star Game’s all-time leading scorer with 127 career All-Star points, surpassing Maya Moore’s 119—a record held by one of the greatest players in league history.
Several stars put on a show throughout the night. According to ESPN, Caitlin Clark finished with 17 points, five assists, and four rebounds for Team Spoon, while Olivia Miles recorded a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Allisha Gray added 19 points in the win.
On Team Coop, Kelsey Mitchell led all scorers with 28 points, Marina Mabrey dropped 23, and Paige Bueckers contributed 12 points and seven assists.
Between a record-setting crowd, historic individual performances, and another packed arena, the message is becoming harder to ignore: the WNBA’s momentum isn’t slowing down anytime soon. If anything, fans just keep showing up.
