Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon brought lesbian cat lady chaos to this SNL classic.

With the Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary show just around the corner (note: it will air Sunday, Feb. 16, from 8 to 11 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock), we’re celebrating some of the most memorably sapphic moments from the sketch comedy juggernaut.

“Whiskers R We” was a delightfully unhinged recurring bit where Kate McKinnon played an awkwardly flirty, bespectacled lesbian cat shelter volunteer. In this 2017 installment, she’s joined by the one and only Kristen Wiig, whose character is just as eccentric and questionably competent. If cat puns are your thing, you just hit the jackpot.
