“What the hell should I post for the GO Mag video of the day?” I thought to myself this early morning. “What the hell do us queer babes want to watch on a FRIDAY?” And then it hit me: ~Lesbian Halloween~ costumes, baby. I mean I still don’t know what the hell I want to be for Halloween, do you?
The first thing I stumbled upon was this very promising looking video:
There was a boy host and girl host (Grace) discussing gay girl Halloween costumes, for Pop Trigger video. Oh was I excited for this! They were pulling from an article they had found online. The moment they cut to the first costume pick (Wonder Woman and Cat Woman) Grace read aloud the commentary from the article:
We all know Wonder Woman has been officially announced as queer, and Cat Woman is totally a bisexual vixen. You’re not fooling anyone with all that leather and all those ~purrs~.
Plus, think about how steamy and kinky your sex will be when dressed up as these hot, heroic babes.
Hmm, that voice sounded mighty familiar, didn’t it? Then I realized I HAD WRITTEN THE PIECE they were discussing in the video. Which only affirmed my gut feeling that I am, indeed the biggest dyke to ever exist. Ever. I mean come on, ladies. If you’re searching for lesbian Halloween costumes and the first thing that comes up is a Halloween costume list you wrote, holyshit; you’re a surefire lezzie.
I must say, I’m flattered AF. I’ve felt wildly insecure about that piece for a year now, but now that this darling Grace character weighed in, on camera, about my lezzie listicle, I’m dancing on cloud 69, baby!
Oh, and for the record, Grace did say that my “dancing emojis” were totally straight, not gay-seeming at all, and girl, I f*cking agree. I don’t know what I was thinking when I chose that one. I was probably desperate, as I often am when I make haphazard choices.
So anyway ladies, what are your lesbian halloween costume picks?
