In honor of New York Fashion Week, we decided to bestow our lovely readers with a little bit of queer chic. In this 25-minute short film, written and directed by the King of Fashion Karl Lagerfeld, for Chanel’s 2011/2012 “Cruise” Collection we get to witness a gorgeous love scene starring out lesbian model Freja Beha.
The film titled “The Tale of a Fairy” is, according to Lagerfeld, “a movie about an ill-advised use of money which begins with violence and ends with feeling.” Beha’s character is “the fairy” of the film and the black and white scene of her passionately kissing Chanel “ambassadress” Anna Mouglalis is both seductive and sophisticated.
So if you’re looking for a Sapphic fashion fix, this film will surely fulfill the gaping style voids in your life. Oh, you just might not want to watch it at work! These scenes are steamy, baby.
