The Shot

September 4, 2008
The thrill of victory, never more apparent than on the faces of belly-bumping Heather O’Reilly (#9) and Natasha Kai (#6) of United States Olympic Soccer Team. They’re airborn in celebration of winning the Women’s Football Gold Medal match against Brazil 0-1 on Day 13 of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, August 21, 2008 at Worker’s Stadium in Beijing, China. But wait, there’s more: They’re also the first women’s soccer team to win back-to-back gold medals in Olympic history. Nice work, ladies.
