Olympic Gymnast Jade Carey Shows Off Her Girlfriend In New Post

Jade Carey is opening up about her relationship, and we are loving it!
The 24-year-old Olympic gymnast hard launched her relationship with Aimee Sinacola in a recent post on Instagram. Not only did we see some adorable photos of the couple, but this post also marks the first time Carey has openly shared her sexuality. She hasn’t put a label on herself, and she doesn’t need one! We are happy to welcome Carey into the community in any way she chooses.
We aren’t the only ones who are embracing Carey with open arms. Many fellow Olympians shared their heartfelt congratulations in the comments of Carey’s post, including Simone Biles, Ellie Black, Danusia Francis-Reid, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, and Aleah Finnegan.

Carey shared four photos, giving fans a small look into the couple’s life together. In one photo, Carey is in a Team USA shirt, holding her Olympic gold medal, while riding on Sinacola’s back. The couple is all smiles as they pose for the camera.
Carey kept it simple in the caption, writing, “happy” with a lock emoji. So everyone knows she is locked down and not playing around! Sinacola echoed her short sentiment, commenting, “Soooooo happy.” Sometimes less is more.
According to her Instagram bio, Sinacaola is the Director of Creative Content for the Oregon Ducks. She does a combination of video, photo, and graphic design content for the University of Oregon Athletics. We are sure she is Carey’s biggest fan, and has captured some great content of the two-time gold medalist.
Carey represented the United States at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics individually, where she won a gold medal for Floor Exercise. She joined the U.S. Women’s team for the 2024 Paris Olympics, winning a bronze medal for the Vault and assisting the team in taking home the gold.
The couple did not reveal how long they have been dating, but Sinacola’s posts with Carey date back to July of 2024. We’re wishing this beautiful couple the best of luck!
