A fantastic actress and proud lesbian, Ellen Page has now given us one more reason to be her biggest fans. The trailer for her docu-series, “Gaycation,” has been released on VICE.com and we couldn’t be more excited. This groundbreaking series, hosted by Page and her charming best friend Ian Daniel, will showcase LGBT communities all over the world, as well as expose the prejudices and cultural differences these diverse communities face. Page presents the viewer with an opportunity to travel across the globe, visiting gay neighborhoods and getting to know LGBT youth along the way.
Though the tone of this series seems to be upbeat, Page does a fantastic job of asking the hard questions and confronting the very real issues that face the LGBT community. Page's contagious energy and relatively recent entrance into the public eye as a lesbian, grants her a unique perspective into the communities she visits throughout her journey. Make sure to look out for the first full episode, airing on Vice’s TV channel Viceland, on March 2nd at 10 pm. We will definitely be watching with you!
