Athena Reich’s Baby Steps

Athena Reich is an award winning actress and singer/songwriter. She won numerous awards for her hosting work on the Curious Cook, an LGBT cooking web series. Her music videos charted #1 on MTV LOGO and her one-woman Off-Broadway comedy, “Lady Gaga: #ARTBIRTH” received Time Out Critic’s Pick and attention from Lady Gaga herself. Most recently Athena is featured in “haveababy,” a documentary about IVF by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Amanda Micheli. In it, Athena tells her story as a single lesbian mother by choice facing infertility.

She was a top 10 finalist in New York’s Funniest competition and headlined her own sold-out show in the New York Comedy Festival. Willmann got acquainted with the GO Magazine crew when she performed at NYC Pride 2015 and now is taking the airwaves by storm with her quick wit and engaging interviews with fellow comedians, models, djs and more. The Cheeky Geek with Shavon Natè

Shavon Natè is a native New Yorker, married for five years to her handsome wife; together they’re raising their two-year-old son. Natè is a social worker/therapist and serendipitously, an avid podcast listener. Natè’s also a gamer, a nerd with a penchant for Dungeons & Dragons and an Anglophile who adores anything Doctor Who. She began her career in media at GO Magazine 10 years ago, working first as a writing intern, and then as GO’s highly regarded nightlife editor. Nasty Women Talk Back is a new feminist political talk show series from filmmaker K. Rocco Shields. Featuring different panelists and guest hosts, every episode will have four women in conversation about issues relating to women (especially LGBTQ women) and how we can be proactive under the new administration.
