The Rainbow Book Fair is free and open to the public. A $3 voluntary donation is asked at the door, but no one will be refused entry. All visitors will need to have a valid photo ID to gain entry to John Jay.
This year, the Fair is expanding into two large well-lit adjacent spaces: Hound Square Center, a bright large student activity area easily reachable by stairs or escalators, and the student cafeteria area it was in last year. A stunning outdoor garden area is nearby, perfect for social activities at the Fair. There will also be rooms for panels, readings, and the famous “Poetry Salon” produced by Nathaniel Siegel, with Regie Cabico, and lots of space to enjoy the Rainbow Book Fair, not only the largest LGBT book event in the US but now an international queer book fair and cultural event.
