Two Iconic Members Of ‘The L Word’ Cast Were At LA Pride

They’re coming to WorldPride in NYC next!

Kate Moennig and Leisha Hailey, the actors known for playing Shane and Alice respectively on “The L Word,” dropped by LA Pride yesterday to get in on the gay celebration. While they were the only two members of the cast to attend, they took to their Instagrams to make sure the whole world was able to join in.

In one video that Hailey posted, both actors are waving and having fun on a float (we’re assuming it was a float celebrating the upcoming new series “The L Word: Generation Q).

“I ❤️ LA,” reads her caption. “What a beautiful day. Thank you @showtime. Next stop #worldpride2019 NYC with @thejenniferbeals & @kateomoennig🌈🏳️‍🌈 @sho_thelword #thelword”

While it was only Hailey and Moennig present, that doesn’t mean the rest of the cast of “The L Word” and “Generation Q” didn’t want to join in the LA Pride fun! Under a selfie that Moennig took of her and Hailey with the caption “We have rainbows coming out of every 🌈❤️😀 #gaypride LA! @sho_thelword,” actor Jennifer Beals, aka Bette Porter, commented “I so wish I was there with y’all!❤️🌈” Trust us, so do we!

Both actors also posted pictures of each other next to their “faces” in the “Generation Q” reveal art with the captions “Nana Alice” and “Grandma Shane.” Could this be a hint that, in the new series, the old cast will be acting more as mentors than main characters? Or is it just the two friends being playful about their ages? Either way, we’re pumped AF.
