LIVE PERFORMANCES BY:

M the Myth

M the Myth is a popstar revolutionizing live performance and paving the way for a new genre: Queer-Pop. Bright costumes, dramatic make-up, surreal visuals and heartfelt choreography bring an undeniable air of radiance to their stage. M the Myth was the recipient of the Stanford Alumni Artist Grant 2019 and The Brooklyn Arts Council’s 2020 fund for Artists.

Claudi from Pinc Louds

Pinc Louds’ lead singer, Claudi, moved from Puerto Rico to NYC in 2015 to fulfill her dream of playing in the subway. Through the literal underground she met the many creatures, musicians and artists that would turn Pinc Louds into the full-blown spectacle they are today. Their passionate shows with wild theatrics and giant puppets have been packing NYC venues such as (le)Poisson Rouge, Elsewhere, Joe’s Pub, and Knitting Factory ever since.

Mumu

MuMu is a political-pop independent musician who was born and raised in Harlem, NYC. MuMu hit the music scene in 2018 with her hit single Free the Nip, quickly gathering millions of views on YouTube and hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify. She spent the next few years touring the country with her band and releasing her EP, Ladies First. When the lockdown began, she podded up with her band and they’ve spent the last year filming live sessions and releasing a new song every two weeks. In addition to her solo career, MuMu is also the head songwriter and co-star of Best Summer Ever, an original musical feature which had its world premiere at SXSW this March. This is her first time performing for a live audience since the pandemic hit nyc and she is PUMPED.

Tasty Licks is held at a DIY music venue called Wet Spot in Bushwick. The event space is located on a 1,000 sq ft deck attached to a 2nd floor walk up apartment. The bathroom will be located inside the apartment. To get to the deck you will need to enter the apartment and climb out a window–there are steps in and out of the window. Masks are required when inside the building and using the restroom. If you don’t think you will be able to make it onto this space, we would love for you to join us over livestream! Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns (@wetspotnyc).
