As Staten Island’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQIA+) organization, The Pride Center of Staten Island is pleased to invite you Staten Island PrideFest 2019.

PrideFest 2019 will celebrate the rich diversity of our LGBTQIA+ and allied community by featuring 11 events over 9 days.

After 8 days of events, including a Youth Prom, Sober Social, Spectrum: Transgender Open Mic Night, and more, PrideFest will culminate in a festival on the grounds of Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Gardens. This outdoor event will showcase local celebrity entertainment, food, activities, merchandise, and numerous community organizations.

May 10, 2019 | 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM | YOUTH PROM | $40.00 | Greenbelt Nature Center, 700 Rockland Avenue, Staten Island, NY Ages 14 – 20. Many Staten Island youth do not feel that they can wear clothing that corresponds to their gender identity or dance with the partner of their choice at their school proms. The Staten Island LGBTQ Youth Prom serves as a safe space for young people to dance, dine, and create community. No youth are turned away for inability to pay. May 10, 2019 | 8:00 PM | PRIDEFEST BOWLING NIGHT | $20.00 | Rab’s Country Lanes, 1600 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY Join us as we head down to Rab’s Country Lanes, only $20.00 for two full games of bowling, pizza, soda, ball and shoe rental (please bring cash)! A fun evening for all ages with all members of our community. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Pride Center of Staten Island. Founded in 1881, Staten Island Museum is Staten Island’s oldest cultural institution, and the only remaining general interest museum in New York City. Join the Pride Center of Staten Island for the 2019 Pride Kick-off party. Celebrate with food and music while viewing the featured documentary video “What Pride Means to Me.” Commemorate the year with your finest pose at the photobooth and participate in a larger conversation by telling the world what pride means to you.

May 12, 2019 | 9:00 AM | 5K PRIDE FUN RUN | Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden This 5K is held on a USA Track and Field Certified course for competitive runners, but all are welcome to participate. The race will take place on the grounds of Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Gardens. Tracking chips, race bibs, and race statistics are available to runners in each age category.
