Babetown Super Bowl, hosted by founder Alex Koones, was a blast filled with great food and good vibes! In solidarity with Colin Kaepernick and his gross mistreatment by the NFL, a portion of proceeds from this dinner was donated to the Black Lives Matter network. Babetown is a pop up supper club for queer women, trans and non binary people that meets in a variety of private homes each month. This month Alex opened her home to us and we were super grateful she did! #Wewerethere! Were you?!

Hot Rabbit at DROM was an EPIC night with DJ Natural State and Samoncé of Shirley House plus sexy GO GO magic by Molly Electro and topped off with a special performance by Harajuku! All thanks to the incredible creator Emily Hall Maresca! #Wewerethere! Were you?!

Anything Goes Karaoke hosted by Danielle Millet-Stanziale at The Stonewall Inn every Thursday night is a guaranteed good time. DJ Lawrence queued up everyone’s favorite sing-a-longs downstairs while DJ Chauncey and Logan Hardcore kept us entertained upstairs. #Wewerethere! Were you?!

Brooklyn Community Pride Center hosted their first Women’s Mixer sponsored by Front Runners New York and GO Mag. They had a fabulous turnout and offered free HIV/AIDS testing. Everyone mingled, drank, and made new friends! #Wewerethere! Were you?!

Ladies Night at ICON was a special fundraising event presented by Crazy Maria Cherry Lips and Lori from Las Reinas Ent, and music by DJ Triple 9. Instead of having a cover charge donations in any amount were accepted at the door. All donations were given to the victims of a house fire on January 4th. The house they were renting caught on fire and burned down. They are part of Lori’s family, friends to many of you and our community, and wanted to remain anonymous. #Wewerethere! Were you?!

Queer Soup Night celebrated their 1 year anniversary at C’mon Everybody this past Sunday, and DJ JayeMarti had us work up an appetite on the dance floor! Co-hosted by JaynesBeard, a lesbian and queer supper club, bread brought to us by Hot Bread Kitchen, and salty snacks provided by everyone’s fave popcorn company, Pipcorn! 100% of proceeds were donated to the The Center for Anti-Violence Education, a Brooklyn-based org which provides self-defense, bystander training, and empowerment programs for adult and teen women (cis and trans), LGBQ and TGNC people, and other communities especially affected by violence. #Wewerethere! The 2018 Women’s March was a massive demonstration of love, solidarity, and fighting for equal rights for all! Women of all colors, shapes, and identities came together to engage in America’s oldest tradition- protesting for equality. #Wewerethere! Were you?!

Buddha Bar at Taj was a BLAST with a killer DJ lineup; DJ Mary Mac, DJ Missy B, DJ MK, and DJ Kim B SLAYED! All thanks to the combined efforts of Cynthia Russo, Lisa S, Cassie Duprey of NYDreamGYRL, and Kate Frawley of LoverGirl NYC, Lisa and Cassie celebrated their birthdays in style! #Wewerethere! Babetown partnered with Penguin Random House LGBTQ Network for “Babetown Books,” an evening of book discussion featuring Yrsa Daley-Ward’s “bone,” a new book of poignant poetry; and it was a scrumptious treat that filled our bellies, and warmed our hearts on this cold January night! Featuring The MaineAttraction, Ekaterina, Tigger-James Ferguson, Gigi Bonbon, Johnny Panic, Tansy, Broody Valentino, Darlinda Just Darlinda, Calamity Chang “The Asian Sexsation” and hosted by the lovely Fancy Feast. Sequin’s New Year Pop-Up Party at Roost was a great opportunity to meet new friends and network with incredible queer women! Sequin is a non-profit arts initiative created by Cleo Gray and Crystal Arnette to nurture, promote & connect underrepresented voices in the arts – working to dismantle systemic issues holding back women, non-binary, LGBTQIA+, ethnic minority & disabled makers utilizing of-the-moment media tools & support. #Wewerethere!
